Who We Are

At Vail Hearing Healthcare, we truly believe that better hearing leads to a better life. We are dedicated to the comprehensive and compassionate care of all your hearing health care needs.

Vail Hearing Healthcare (previously known as Christina Vail Audiology) was established in 1996 and is an independent, local hearing care provider with two offices serving Bradford County and the surrounding areas. With over 30 years of experience in the hearing healthcare field, Dr. Christina Vail and her staff are passionate about providing thorough and expert care with a personalized approach.

We are a full-service clinic offering diagnostic care, hearing aids, counseling, personalized aftercare and prevention. Our services are customized to each patient’s individual needs. We offer a wide range of solutions and it is important to remember that there is no such thing as “one size fits all.” Just as each person’s hearing loss is different, so are everyone’s listening needs and preferences. What works for your neighbor, friend or family member may not be appropriate for you. We have witnessed firsthand how our patients have improved their lives with enhanced hearing and we look forward to helping you achieve those same results.

Meet Our Professionals

Christina Vail, Au.D.

Audiologist & Owner

Dr. Christina Vail is a native of Towanda, PA. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Penn State University. She also received her teaching certificate in Hearing Impairment as part of her degree. She received her Master’s degree in Audiology from Syracuse University, and her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from Salus University. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is licensed in Pennsylvania. Dr. Vail has been the owner and operator of Vail Hearing Healthcare since 1996. Dr. Vail’s experience with hearing impairment spans even longer. Besides clinical audiology, her career has also included education audiology, and teaching Deaf and Hard of Hearing students at pre-school, elementary, and high school levels. She has also been an instructor of sign language at the high school ang college levels.

Taylor Bower, Au.D.

Audiologist

Dr. Taylor Bower is originally from Hughesville, Pa and now resides in Sullivan County, Pa. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Bloomsburg University in Speech Pathology and Audiology with a minor in Gerontology. She received her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology at Bloomsburg as well. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is licensed in Pennsylvania. She has been a part of Vail Hearing Healthcare since 2021.

Doreen Brown

Office Manager

Doreen is a native of the Towanda area graduating from Towanda High School in 1981. Doreen has been with Dr. Vail since 2001. Doreen’s previous work history includes ten years of banking experience (loan, teller, bookkeeping, and operations) at two local banks, and five years of customer service at two local insurance agencies. Doreen has personal experience with hearing loss as her two daughters, Nichole and Kristin, were diagnosed with hearing loss at a young age. Doreen is available to assist you with scheduling appointments, billing, insurance needs, or to answer any questions you may have about our services.

Terri Gerrity

Hearing Aid Technician

Terri is a graduate of Towanda High School. Terri has been with Dr. Vail since 2009. She has had numerous work experiences including: receptionist, dental assistant, courthouse tip staff, educational assistance and hair stylist. She has a Cosmetology Manager License. Terri has been extensively trained by Dr. Vail and has attended a number of hearing instrument technology seminars. Terri is looking forward to meeting you in the future and will be here to help with any hearing problems or concerns. She is available Tuesday through Friday to clean, check, and maintain your hearing instruments.
