Dr. Christina Vail is a native of Towanda, PA. She completed her B.S. degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Penn State University. She also received her teaching certificate in Hearing Impairment as part of her degree. She received her master's degree in audiology from Syracuse University, and her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from Salus University. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is licensed in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Vail's experience with hearing impairment spans over 30 years. Her career has included clinical audiology, educational audiology, and teaching Deaf and Hard of hearing students at the pre-school, elementary, and high school levels. She has also been an instructor of sign language at the high school and college levels.
Dr. Vail has been in private practice for over 20 years. She specializes in the selection, fitting, programming and modification of state-of-the-art digital hearing technology for people of all ages. Dr. Vail's graduate education, licensure and extensive experience, combined with her small-town roots and values, ensure that her patients receive the highest quality and most accessible hearing healthcare
Doreen is a native of the Towanda area graduating from Towanda High School in 1981. She has two daughters Nichole (Rawlins, Wyoming) and Kristin (Towanda).
Doreen's work history includes ten years of banking experience (loan, teller, bookkeeping and operations) at two local banks and five years of customer service at two local insurance agencies.
Doreen has personal experience with hearing loss as her two daughters were diagnosed with hearing loss at young age.
With her previous work and experience, as well as her personal knowledge of hearing loss and hearing instruments, enabled her to join Vail Hearing Healthcare in 2001.
She is available to assist you with scheduling appointments, billing, insurance needs or to answer any questions you may have about our services.
Doreen enjoys spending time with family and friends, vacationing in Ocean City, Maryland and following her great nieces and nephews at their various sporting events.
Hearing Aid Technician
Terri has enjoyed helping people hear better at Vail Hearing Healthcare for the last ten years. She is a graduate of Towanda High School and has a Cosmetology Manager License. She has had numerous work experiences including: receptionist, dental assistant, courthouse tip staff, educational assistant and hair stylist.
Terri has been extensively trained by Dr. Vail and has attended a number of hearing instrument technology seminars.
Not only is she dedicated to the patients she serves, she is also a devoted mother to three sons: Skyler, who resides in Wyoming, Coleton, who resides in Williamsport, and Logan, who is in eleventh grade at Towanda High School.
Terri is looking forward to meeting you in the future and will be here to help with any hearing aid problems or concerns. She is available Tuesday through Friday to clean, check and maintain your hearing instruments.
Patient Care Coordinator & Marketing
Kelly is the patient care coordinator and marketing specialist. A Towanda native, she came to Vail Hearing Healthcare in 2011 after taking time to raise her family. She earned a Bachelors degree from the Pennsylvania State University in 1994. She has had personal experience with hearing loss and knows sign language having grown up with a close friend who is Deaf.
Kelly has three daughters: Abigayle, who resides in the Towanda area, Alexandra, a student at Penn State, and Ava, a student at Towanda High School. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, concerts, Penn State football games and doing DIY projects.
She enjoys working with and providing our patients with excellent service and being part of a team that helps them improve their life with better hearing.
